He was right, they are one of the best bands i've have the privilage of seeing live. One of their support bands was a band called Celticia, who were also very good. I would recommend to all that you at least try and see them live if they come to your area. But i'm not writing to plug these bands.

Both bands had very attractive female vocalists, both very tallented. This caused me to realise how true the statement "sex sells" is, most of the people at the venue werent paying attention to the male band members who were also very tallented. Unfortunately I am also at blame here, I only noticed the audiance were focused almost hypnotically on the vocalists in the brief moments I could tear my eyes away from them.

The Question arises, despite the vocalists extreme tallent, would their fanbase be as large were it not for the genetic gift of beauty? This is a question i'll throw to the masses and probably be called a sexist or masogonist for(by those who misunderstand the question or the above statements). I Await comments.

Richards Rules #1

Ok, i've decided that there are some things very very wrong with the world, I intend to slowly but surely highlight every one of these things and suggest ways around the problems in a series of Rules -

#1
The first degree murder of an idiot should not be a crime. This is very dangerous, Faith is more likely to get you killed than courage, so its probably best to have a healthy store of courage about you anyway. But be careful, theres a very fine line between courage and stupidity, most people unfortunately look at an act of supreme stupidity and say "i've never seen such a couragous act". The reason for this is most people are fools.

For some reason I dont feel i ended that off very well, but thats now the problem of you guys, the poor sods reading this.

The Price of Knowledge

It has been suggested there is no more noble venture than educating yourself and attaining great knowledge. To this I say Bollocks!

There are many who believe that all knowledge and information should be freely accessable to all. What damage could a bit of knowledge do? It has been suggested that when bronze was first fashoined it was used only as a material for farming tools, to improve efficiency and allow a greater harvest, thus benefiting hundreds of thousands of people world wide, however within years if not months this metal was used for the design of weapons. Withing a decade this metal, designed with the intention of aiding many lives had taken thousands.

The same goes for medical research, learning how the lungs and heart work, soon you learn how to kill a man. I would suggest there is no information so basic that it can not be perverted to take lives, any you can think of probably just havent acquired the fully consideration of a governments military.

Unforgiving Mind

I realised today that all life is a struggle, however the common belief is that life is a struggle for survival against outside influances. Whilst these influances do provide some risk this is for the most part an illusion. The real fight is against our various layers of nature. The Loving, The Self-Protecting, the Anhedonic. Yes we have ravaged the world and performed acts of genocide, but we've always done this with a certain style. So its with a heavy heart I declare this, we have lost our way!.

America, despite its state of infancy (the natives have only been there about 400 years, the original natives are all but extinct now) and the political and economic strift that goes with its youth, has developed beyond us in one (and only one) crucial area. They mix a true martini. In the UK if you ask for a martini you get a pre-bottled bacardi based intestinal discharge. A true martini is 3 parts Dry Vermouth, 1 part gin, shaken well and served with an olive.

I am here to educate the bar staff of england, if I order a martini in your bar and you serve me the bacardi menace, I shall reach into your chest, remove your heart, liquidise it and serve it with rum as my new cocktail - The Educator

The Wingman

As a first entry, I'd like to clarify to many out there the exact role of the "Wingman" in the dating process.

Firstly its important to note that in my experience i've never seen a female with a wingman, or indeed a female wingman, this may be because when women go hunting they hunt in large packs, whereas men tend to hunt in two man units - the hunter and the wingman. The wingman is usually, like myself in a relationship already, and thus assumes he knows everything about dating, this is rarely the case.

The advantages of the wingman is he can take the blame if things go the way of the pear. General tactics include the wingman buying a cute girl a drink from across the bar in the name of the hunter. Or approaching two women on their own, catalysing a conversation and "leaving to make a phone call" and making sure you are gone for at least 30mins so the hunter can try to fly on his own. A popular but rarely used technique derives from the movie Topgun (as probably does the term "wingman"), find a girl, and start singing lead vocals with your wingman (or wingmen) sing backing, when the song finishes ask the girl if she would like a drink, if it has stirred enough attention in the bar she will be too embaressed to say no. My new favourite however is sitting at the bar with the hunter, when a viable target approaches on her own, tapping her on the shoulder and saying "Hi, Have you met <insert>" (insert hunters name and gesture towards him) and walk away very smoothly and very quickly.

To summerise the wingman is a catalyst and a scape goat.</insert>
